Your appointment includes a personalised consultation, brow design, colour selection and your initial cosmetic tattoo treatment.
A follow-up Colour Boost is generally recommended 4–10 weeks after your initial appointment to assess pigment retention and refine your healed result.
Price: $385
Colour Boost
A Colour Boost is designed to refine or refresh your existing cosmetic eyebrow tattoo.
This appointment is generally recommended 4–10 weeks after your initial ombré powder brow treatment to address areas of uneven pigment retention and make any necessary adjustments to the healed result.
Colour Boost appointments are also available to existing Nurse Laura clients wishing to refresh previous work as their cosmetic tattoo gradually fades over time.
The suitability of a Colour Boost depends on your existing pigment, skin condition and desired outcome.
Price: $355
Please note: Colour Boost appointments are available for my own previous work. Clients with cosmetic tattooing performed elsewhere should book an initial Ombré Powder Brows appointment for assessment and treatment planning.

Especially designed pigment is deposited under superficial layers of skin using a machine. The technician uses these tiny pixels of colour to create a subtle enhancement that will save you time and help build your confidence. Generally, 2 appointments are required to create optimal results.

This treatment is very well tolerated. The technique that I use is typically much more comfortable than a body tattoo. People describe the feeling as scratchy at the start and a little uncomfortable at the end but we’ve never experienced a client not wanting their second session due to ‘pain’. It’s not uncommon after we start a procedure for clients to say “Is that all? I got worked up over nothing.”.
-
As explained in the previous question, we use a machine to create a powder effect and we can customise this technique to be natural and light or more bold and defined. We find this technique creates very little trauma in the skin, has great outcomes for majority of clients and does not create scar tissue that is hard to add colour to in the future.
Feather touch and microblading are terms that are used interchangeably, they are a technique that uses a blade (or needles in a row) to cut stroke like incisions into the brow area depositing pigment manually into the skin. We have chosen not to offer feather touch/microblading because it is only suitable for an obscure skin type, it has a far lower satisfaction rate for clients overall and creates scar tissue/thickening of the skin making it difficult to retouch and maintain desired results over time.
All tattooing techniques should be preformed by a suitably qualified technician.

Although PMU may never disappear, it will lighten, lose warmth and vibrance with time.
Due to the uniqueness of skin to every individual, it’s impossible to tell exactly how long your tattoo will last but we do know that most people opt to get a colour boost once every 1-3 years.
-
Unfortunately, pregnant and/or breastfeeding women and people with compromised immune systems are not suitable candidates for our treatments. A thorough health history will be used to ensure that PMU is right for you and that any risks individual to you are managed accordingly.
-
Your initial appointment slot will be 1.5 hours long, usually half of this is consultation and the other half is procedural.
